Sharon is a 31-year veteran of the paralegal profession in Texas. Most of her career has involved work in civil and complex commercial litigation and environmental law. She has trial experience in state and federal jurisdictions, as well as administrative state and federal agency proceedings before the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the State Office of Administrative Hearings, the Railroad Commission of Texas and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Sharon has significant experience managing large volumes of documents, electronic data, overseeing document reviews and productions. She enjoys developing efficient ways to manage large volumes of documents and other evidence. Because of her considerable experience with large productions, Sharon is interested in the latest trends and developments in e-Discovery.
Before joining MSM&W, Sharon worked at large and medium-sized law firms in Texas as well as in-house for a Fortune 500 company and an Austin-based franchise restaurant chain. Her valuable paralegal experience includes environmental, multidistrict litigation, large products liability litigation, mergers and acquisitions, financial, real estate, bankruptcy, corporate, and intellectual property practice areas.
She has a B.A. in History from The University of Texas at Austin.
Affiliations include memberships to the Capital Area Paralegals Association and the Texas Exes Alumni Association. Sharon enjoys being a volunteer for Meals on Wheels Central Texas.
