Caitlyn Bates

Caitlyn spent both summers in law school at the firm before joining as an associate in 2018. She has had the opportunity to work on both civil suits and regulatory matters at the firm, including contested cases before the Railroad Commission and TCEQ. In addition to her work with the firm, Caitlyn has a diverse background in data privacy research, civil rights litigation, and in-house corporate counsel for a Fortune 500 company, which she believes gives her a unique perspective on both preventing and addressing the complex legal issues clients may have.

In her spare time, Caitlyn enjoys hiking, powerlifting, photography, and exploring the outdoors with her dog.
