RAILROAD COMMISSION

Our firm handles contested and uncontested cases before the RRC in oil and gas, pipeline safety, environmental remediation, gas services, and surface mining matters. We offer advice and represent clients in connection with drilling permits, spacing and density exceptions, pooling and unitization, injection and disposal well applications and protests, enforcement actions, special field rules, environmental permitting, site remediation and cleanup, plugging responsibility, and new field discoveries. We represent clients in legislative matters and rulemaking proceedings affecting the oil and gas industry.

CIVIL LITIGATION AND APPEALS

Our litigation practice includes royalty and mineral ownership disputes, boundary disputes, lease operating and pooling agreements, surface use and damages, violation of oil and gas lease covenants, lease forfeiture, downhole casing failures and blowouts, improper saltwater disposal, and environmental cleanup and remediation. We also represent clients in administrative appeals of decisions issued by the RRC.

LEASE NEGOTIATION AND INTERPRETATION

Our firm assists clients in the review and preparation of oil and gas leases, joint operating agreements, surface use agreements, pooling and unitization agreements, and production sharing and allocation agreements. We also examine title instruments and prepare title opinions.

WIND AND SOLAR RENEWABLES
